Welcome to the South Wales Regional Alpaca Group
The South Wales Regional Alpaca Group (SWRAG) was founded in 2022, when the British Alpaca Society provided a start up grant alongside a support plan to enable localised support for all alpaca owners. SWRAG welcomes ideas, information and suggestions from all our members.

Our Mission
SWRAG strives to promote and represent the interests of alpaca owners and breeders as well as others interested in alpacas and/or their products, such as vets, farmers, fibre processors, fabric designers, etc. SWRAG operates in the South Region of Wales through information sharing, facilitating practical self-help, support and training, organising webinars and events, and ensuring that the needs of the membership community is catered for locally.
